The well-appointed One-Bedroom Villa featured a spacious layout with distinct charm and unique aesthetics that made it inviting. The nearby walking paths by the river provided a tranquil setting, perfect for soaking up the scenic beauty of the area.
Navigating the steep, narrow staircase in the villa was quite a hassle for us due to mobility issues, and it was frustrating that these specifics weren't highlighted in the photos. Additionally, the unit felt quite dark during the day, which detracted from the overall comfort. The lack of adequate lighting made evening walks to the restaurant somewhat daunting, especially without a flashlight. The breakfast menu also seemed a bit limited in variety, despite the quality of the food being high. Finally, the strict no-cancellation policy felt rather rigid for a stay that had its challenges.

stunning park views and charming nearby attractions make exploration easy
During my stay, I was delighted by the warm welcome from the staff, and I loved that everything was spotlessly clean, allowing me to enjoy leisurely walks around the beautiful gardens and the nearby Meikleour Beech Hedge, which is a must-see for any nature lover. As a solo traveler, I found the ambiance magical, but the noise from the close road was slightly bothersome at times.
